Travel through the Grisons mountains on the Rhaetian Railway, discover Davos at a relaxed pace, and experience the world-famous Landwasser Viaduct: this five-day culinary journey combines nature, activity, culture, and gourmet dining in a special way.
The journey itself is part of the experience: the ride on the Rhaetian Railway through the Grisons mountains offers impressive views and sets the tone for relaxing days ahead. Upon arrival in Davos, Hotel Grischa is located directly opposite the train station – a stylish home away from home. Alternatively, arrival by car is also easily possible.
The trip combines active nature experiences with gourmet moments and cultural highlights, while deliberately leaving room for individual discoveries. Individual arrival by train or car. Check-in from 3:00 PM. The afternoon is all about settling in: a stroll along the promenade or around Lake Davos. The evening concludes with a light half-board menu in the cozy Pulsa Stube. After breakfast, take the gondola up to Ischalp. From there, an easy hike with moderate elevation changes leads via Clavadeleralp to Clavadel – offering magnificent views of the Davos mountains. At Clavadeleralp, the show dairy invites you to taste fine alpine cheese and regional specialties. Return to the valley by PostBus or via the same route by gondola. The evening ends with Mediterranean tapas at Restaurant Jody’s. A special highlight: a ride on a nostalgic Rhaetian Railway train to Filisur. There, the Landwasserwelt opens up around the world-famous Landwasser Viaduct. Those who wish can then hike for about 1.5 hours via Schönboden and the “Sky Walk” at the Wiesen Viaduct back to Wiesen station. The evening is at your leisure. Visit to the Kirchner Museum: light-filled rooms featuring works by the expressionist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, strongly influenced by the Davos mountains. In the evening, a culinary highlight at Restaurant APOLLO – a 4-course gourmet menu in an establishment awarded 1 Michelin star and 15 GaultMillau points. Leisurely breakfast, check-out, and individual departure by train or car.
