History
The Grischa Hotel Davos, which is situated directly opposite the train station in Davos Platz, was constructed in 2011 by its Dutch owners, the Parrée family, converting the original Terminus and Caprice hotels. They created a unique hotel concept offering stylish designer rooms, lavish and diverse culinary offerings and an optimal infrastructure for skiers and mountain bikers. Thanks to the diverse range of rooms and the stylish ambience, the Grischa Hotel Davos is also the perfect venue for conferences, seminars, banquets, weddings and celebrations of all kinds.
Design and architecture
The design and architecture of our 4-star superior hotel will astound you. At Grischa, every detail tells a story; Alpine comfort meets modern design, resulting in a stylish ambience with a character all of its own. The individual lighting concept throughout the hotel is unique and adds to the homely and welcoming atmosphere. The furniture and lamps were designed especially for the Grischa. The reception in our lobby features a breath-taking 7 m-high light sculpture made from 1,400 individual elements of hand-blown Murano glass. The entire interior was designed by renowned Zurich-based architects Fischbach & Aberegg.

Founded in 1921, the legendary Hockey Club Davos (HCD) looks back on more than 90 years of club history with 31 Swiss championship titles and 15 Spengler Cup victories. The Davos Ice Stadium is just 10 minutes’ walk away from the Grischa, and we are of course always cheering on ‘our’ HCD. At some point in your life, you simply have to experience the unique feeling of watching a home match of the HCD at its home stadium!
